The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary is delighted to have received a generous donation of £3,878 from Daish’s Holidays, following a successful year as the company’s chosen Charity of the Year!
This fantastic total was raised through the kindness and generosity of Daish’s Holidays guests and staff, with fundraising taking place throughout the year. The donation will help support our Sanctuary’s ongoing mission to provide lifelong care for rescued animals and continue our vital conservation and education work.
As a charity, we rely on the support of individuals, businesses and community partners to help meet our annual running costs of nearly £2 million, ensuring every one of our rescued animals receives the expert care they deserve.
This partnership has also strengthened the relationship between our Sanctuary and Daish’s Holidays following the launch of our popular coach and group bookings offer. By welcoming organised groups, we have enabled even more visitors staying on the Isle of Wight to discover the inspiring rescue stories behind our Sanctuary’s resident animals, while helping to support our charity’s vital work.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the team at Daish’s Holidays, and in particular the Manager of the Shanklin Hotel, whose support and enthusiasm have helped make the partnership such a success.

The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary welcomes coach parties, clubs, societies and organised groups to enjoy a unique guided experience. For just £12 per person (minimum group size of 15), visitors can enjoy a 90-minute guided tour led by one of our Sanctuary’s knowledgeable guides, discovering the remarkable rescue stories of the animals that now call Wildheart home.
