We’re thrilled to share some exciting news as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary year. The Price is Wight has chosen Wildheart Animal Sanctuary as its Charity of the Year.

This fantastic partnership will help support the rescued animals in our care every time customers purchase a deal through The Price is Wight website, helping us continue our mission for years to come.
To mark the launch of this collaboration, The Price is Wight is hosting a special raffle throughout May, giving supporters the chance to win an exclusive Bear Experience for two, worth £300. This unforgettable behind-the-scenes experience offers a rare opportunity to meet our rescued bears, Benji and Balu, and learn more about their individual stories, personalities and ongoing care.
Every ticket sold will directly support the vital work we do here at the Sanctuary.

We’re also delighted that The Price is Wight will be the headline sponsor of Run Wild, our brand-new 5K charity fun run taking place on Sunday 5th July. Designed to be fun, inclusive and family-friendly, Run Wild invites people of all ages and abilities to come together for a day of fundraising, fitness and conservation, all while dressed in animal fancy dress!
As many of our supporters know, providing sanctuary and lifelong care for rescued animals is a huge responsibility and commitment. It costs nearly £2 million every year to care for the animals who now call Wildheart home. From specialist veterinary treatment and tailored nutrition plans to enrichment programmes, purpose-built habitats and highly trained animal care teams, every animal receives the individual care they need to thrive.
Rescue is only the beginning of their journey, and thanks to partnerships like this, we can continue giving vulnerable animals the second chance they deserve.
Karyn Carson, Founder of The Price is Wight, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to support the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary during such a special milestone year. Celebrating their 50th anniversary while continuing their vital work rescuing and caring for animals, from big cats and primates to bears, is truly inspiring. We’re excited to help raise funds and awareness through our platform, and we hope our customers will join us in supporting this fantastic local charity.”
We’re incredibly grateful to The Price is Wight for supporting us during this milestone year and helping raise awareness of our work across the Island community.
