As we celebrate 50 years of caring for animals on the Isle of Wight, Premier Motors is marking a milestone of its own with the opening of its new Peugeot franchise in Newport!
Supporting our rescued lions
There’s a particularly fitting connection between Wildheart and Premier Motors’ new partnership with Peugeot – the iconic lion.
For every qualifying new Peugeot sold by Premier Motors, £25 will be donated directly to Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, helping us provide the specialist care, food, enrichment and veterinary support our rescued animals need.
The funds raised through the partnership will help support our rescued animals including our African lions, who have each come to Wildheart after experiencing exploitation and unsuitable conditions. Providing lifelong care for animals who have already been through so much is at the heart of what we do, and partnerships like this help make that possible.
Premier Motors’ customers will also have the opportunity to add to the donation by voluntarily matching the £25 contribution themselves. Those who choose to do so will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a lion experience at Wildheart.
Making a difference together
We’re particularly pleased that this is more than a one-off fundraising campaign. The partnership is designed to provide ongoing support, with Premier Motors planning to extend the £25 donation initiative to qualifying Ford and MG sales in the future.
A partnership with an Island connection
Premier Motors has a long history on the Isle of Wight and has recently added Peugeot to its existing Ford and MG franchises at its Riverway dealership in Newport.
For us, the most important part of this partnership is what happens beyond the showroom – the support it will provide for animals who rely on Wildheart every single day.
We’re hugely grateful to the Premier Motors team and their customers for getting behind our work. Every qualifying vehicle sale will help turn a new set of wheels into something that really matters here at Wildheart: better lives for rescued animals.
