We’re proud to announce that our Learning and Discovery Manager, Zeb Fisher, has been named a finalist in the 2025 Tourism Superstar competition!
VisitEngland’s Tourism Superstar competition, which has been running for 13 years, seeks out champions working in tourism who provide the most memorable experiences for visitors, as well as showcasing the variety and quality of England’s tourism offer and destinations. Zeb is one of 10 finalists selected from dozens of submissions from employers and destinations across England covering all areas of tourism. You can see a list of the other finalists here.
As the Manager of our Learning and Discovery department, Zeb oversees our school and group visits, educational outreach sessions, and other learning provisions. She also plays an instrumental role in organising events at the Sanctuary, such as the hugely popular FOCAS Fest!

She has been a vital part of our team for almost 3 years, during which time she, together with her team, have grown and developed our education and groups offering, bringing the animal world to life in a fun and engaging way for so many, whilst highlighting the plight that animals face across the globe. For her to be recognised for all of her efforts in this way means the world – she is already a Superstar to us!”
Zeb and her fellow finalists will go on to compete for the title of Tourism Superstar, decided by a public vote and run on VisitEngland’s website. Keep an eye on our social media channels in 2025 to find out how you can support our amazing Zeb by voting for her!
