Leap into the fascinating world of Lynx this February Half Term and discover an immersive world of feline adaptations, behaviours and facts.
As you may know this year is a Leap Year, so to recognise this special occasion we will be celebrating our extraordinary ‘Leaping’ Lynx – Daenerys, Nymeria and Tyrion. Did you know that Lynx are able to leap almost 2 metres into the air to catch their prey?

Leaping Lynx Sanctuary Trail*
Winding its way around the Sanctuary, follow our Leaping Lynx Activity Trail and find out amazing facts about our Lynx. What makes these tenacious creatures so fascinating? Their webbed paws, their Lynx-eyed vision and so much more!

Pop down to our Education Centre and colour in your own beautiful Lynx, or cut, stick and build your own paper Lynx to take home!

Our new Crayfish Conservation Centre is now open to the public, where you can learn all about the White-clawed Crayfish and our efforts to protect this endangered species.
You can check out the new wobble bridge for our tigers Natasha and Zoppa, which stretches out across their pond and provides them with a fun source of exercise!
And if your little ones fancy getting a little dirty – come and enjoy our mud kitchen and large playground.
Have you heard about our Tiger Cubs and Mums Club? The next session is taking place on Wednesday 14th February 10:00-11:30, during Half Term!
We also have Wildheart Holiday Club for children aged 9-12 years taking place on Thursday 15th February 09:00-12:00. Book your space online now by emailing email@example.com.
