The worst of the storm has passed and thankfully all our animals and staff are safe. However, sitting on the shores of Sandown Bay the sanctuary felt the full power of Storm Eunice and our grounds took a real battering.
As you can see, trees were uprooted and several buildings suffered structural damage. The good news is the site is secure and the animals are safe in their bedrooms for the night but the hard work begins in earnest to repair the damage.
