Please note: If there is a session with less than 10 children booked in then the session may be cancelled. However, you will still be welcome to come to the Sanctuary and join our animal talks and see the animals at your leisure for the discounted Home Ed price.

Here is a summary of our planned sessions after Easter. We are incredibly lucky and have the wonderful Emma joining us on the Learning & Discovery Team who will be running these sessions going forward

The sessions up till July are as follows:

Monday 7th August – Incredible Indigenous Animal Art!
Theme/objective: Learn about the way Indigenous Australians create animal art, find out about our Australian residents here at the sanctuary and have a go at creating them using traditional at techniques.

Monday 21st August – Laid Back Lizards

Theme/objective: Learn all about our lovely lizards and make and decorate your own out of recycled materials.

Monday 4th September – Pawprint Family Zoo Badge Challenge

Theme/objective: Animal diets – the animals that eat insects at the sanctuary and the insects they eat.

Monday 18th September – Fantastic Felt Animals
Theme/objective: Come and make a finger puppet of one of our amazing animals here at the sanctuary. Stick with glue or really challenge yourself and have a go at some sewing! – This is a premium session and costs £7.00 per person.
