The Wildheart Trust

The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary’s name reflects our focus on rescued and threatened wildlife and puts the Isle of Wight at the frontline for the protection of endangered species.

The Wildheart Trust actively funds and donates its human resources to assist with the in-situ conservation of tigers (in India) and rare moths (on the Isle of Wight).

Meet our Rescues

Have a fantastic family day out visiting our animal attraction. Formally the IOW Zoo, the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary rescues & protects. Help protect endangered species—every visit supports animal welfare. Visit rescued bears, tigers, lions & lemurs. New bear residents, majestic white lions, and an award‑winning café with sea views.

World Serval Day

18th March

The Wildheart Trust launched World Serval Day in 2023 to raise awareness and support our SERVIVAL campaign which aims to ban the breeding of exotic wild cats with domestic cats within the UK. This abhorrent practice has no place in the 21^st Century and does untold harm and long term damage to feline species.
