The Wildheart Trust

Our name reflects our focus on rescued and threatened wildlife and puts the Isle of Wight at the frontline of the protection of endangered species.

The Wildheart Trust actively funds and donates its human resources to assist with the in-situ conservation of tigers (in India), lemurs (in Madagascar) and rare moths (IOW).

Meet our Rescues

Our sanctuary has a variety of animals, but we specialise in two particular areas – tigers and lemurs. Our keepers have their own specific sections, which allows them to get to know the personalities of the animals in their care very well.

Visit Us in Sandown Bay

We can be found on Yaverland Road, Sandown, directly opposite the beach.

Adopt & Donate

If you have a particular soft spot for one of our animals, then you can make sure we give them some extra special attention by buying an adoption package.

Animal Encounters & Experiences

Our wildlife experiences are a perfect opportunity for anyone who has ever wanted to get a little closer to wildlife.

Sign our petition to help end the abuse of exotic cats

The Wildheart Trust launched the SERVIVAL campaign to ban the breeding of exotic wild cats with domestic cats within the UK. We are calling on George Eustice, MP, Secretary of State for Environment, to end this cruel form of hybridisation.

This abhorrent practice has no place in the 21st Century and does untold harm and long term damage to feline species.

Together we can make a difference. Together we roar.
